Invitation to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising

The Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Dr. Hab. Alojzy Z. Nowak, invites to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. On this anniversary, as every year, the University of Warsaw community will honor its heroes, and in a special way the soldiers of the “Krybar” Combat Group, which fought for the area of ​​our campus. The ceremony will be attended by the insurgents, Warsaw residents and the community of our University. The ceremony will take place on August 1, 2024 at 12:00 at the Main Gate of the University of Warsaw, ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28.

During the celebration, the exhibition “Krybar – 80 Years of Memory” will be opened. At 12:00 At 12:45 there will be a vernissage in the former University Library in Warsaw, Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28. The exhibition is located in front of the seat of the University of Warsaw Museum (Krakowskie Przedmieście 32) and in the former University Library in Warsaw (Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28).
