International conference “Foundations of Mathematics, Truth, and Implicit Commitments” (April 11-13, 2024)

Philosophers and logicians working on the foundations of mathematics will meet at the University of Warsaw on April 11-13 for the scientific conference “Foundations of Mathematics, Truth, and Implicit Commitments.” Below are the details and program. Over time, a link to the online transmission will also be available here.

The conference is organized by the team of Professor Cezary Cieśliński, conducting the research project “Epistemic and Semantic Commitments of Foundational Theories” at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw, funded by the NCN under the MAESTRO program. The conference aims to create a meeting platform for philosophers, mathematicians, and logicians working on the implicit commitments of mathematical theories and related concepts in the context of philosophy and the foundations of mathematics.

The event will take place at the Institute of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw, at 55 Dobra Street, in room 1.132 on the first floor. Among the conference speakers are the following scholars:
