6th World Logic Day at the Faculty of Philosophy
On January 12-14, 2024, at the Faculty of Philosophy we will celebrate the 6th World Logic Day. For this occasion Professors from different Polish universities prepared many interesting events in Polish and in English which will be held at our Faculty. See the programme below.
The World Logic Day celebrated every year around January, 14 (the day of Alfred Tarski’s birth and Kurt Gödel’s death). It was first organised in 2019 by Jean-Yves Beziau to promote logic all over the Wolrd. After this event, he has successfully applied for a patronage of UNESCO. Since that time, many universities all over the World celebrate this day by different events and initiatives. See more: https://www.unesco.org/en/days/world-logic). See also an interview with Beziau about the idea of WLD: https://www.logica-universalis.org/wld6
