We cordially invite you to take part in three lectures by prof. Panos Eliopoulos from the University of Ioannina: on April 23 at 4:45 p.m. in room 211, on April 24 at 1:15 p.m. in room 209 (Faculty of Philosophy) and on April 25 at 6 p.m (Faculty of Artes Liberales). Details below.
Prof. Boros came to our faculty as part of the academic teachers’ exchange program. Here is the detailed lecture schedule:
- Tuesday, April 23, 4:45 p.m., p. 211 (as part of the Student Club of Ancient Philosophy): Ethics in an epistemological and metaphysical context in Ancient Greek Philosophy: The cases of Plato and Aristotle;
- Wednesday, April 24, 1:15 p.m., p. 209 (seminar by Prof. K. Łapiński and Dr. M. Damski): The concept of Non-Violence in the Philosophy of the Imperial Stoa;
- Thursday, April 25, 6 p.m., Faculty of Artes Liberales at ul. Dobra 72 (as part of the Speculum Byzantinum UW): Plato’s theory on Eros and the political implications.
