Colloquium: Aesthetics & Experience
On the 10th of July 2104 the summer colloquium at Warsaw University. The aim of the colloquium was to reconsider the relationship between aesthetics and experience. Explored themes included the connections between aesthetics, epistemology, and phenomenology, as well as their relation to the wider context of the human perception and understanding of the world. Among the speakers were: prof. Zofia Rosińska, prof.Roger Scruton and prof. Ferenc Horcher. Prof. Władysław Stróżewski who was supposed to participate in the event had to cancel his lecture.
Oxford Seminars on Humane Philosophy – prof. Alister McGrath
On the 23rd of October prof. Alister McGrath, Andreas Idreos Professor of Science and Religion at the University of Oxford delivered the inaugural lecture for the seminar series on Humane Philosophy organised by the Humane Philosophy Project and Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion. The subject of his lecture was the question of the coherence in science and religion.

Oxford Seminars on Humane Philosophy – sir Anthony Kenny
On the 20th of November Sir Anthony Kenny (former Master of Balliol College, President of the British Academy and the Royal Institute of Philosophy as well as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford) delivered the lecture confronting the idea of humanism with that of anthropomorphism. The lecture was the part of the ongoing seminar series on Humane Philosophy organised by The Humane Philosophy Project and Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion.

Oxford Seminars on Humane Philosophy – Lord Stewart Sutherland
On the 29th of January Lord Stewart Sutherland – Baron Sutherland of Houndwood, former Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh, Vice-Chancellor of the University of London, President of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Professor of History and Philosophy of Religion at King’s College London – delivered the initial lecture for the second series of Oxford Seminars on Humane Philosophy. On the 12th of February prof. Zofia Rosińska, Institute of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw, delivered her lecture for the seminar series on Humane Philosophy organised by the Humane Philosophy Project and Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion.
