INDEXICALS AND DEMONSTRATIVES II is the second of the series of the workshop-seminars planned within the project 'Semantic and epistemological aspects of ostension: from demonstrating procedures to the exploitation of the context of utterance’.

The purpose of the workshop-seminars is to gather philosophers interested in indexicality, especially in various problems connected with the distinction between proper indexicals and demonstratives (the role of intentions in determining the reference of indexicals and demonstratives, the linguistic meanings of indexical expressions etc.) and other problems in the logic, semantics and pragmatics of deictic expressions. We are especially interested in foundational philosophical questions and issues.
