Jean-Louis Fabiani – is a member of Ecole des Hautes en Scinces Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and a professor of sociology in CEU Budapest. Sociologist, he worked extensively on the social aspects of the functioning of social sciences and philosophy in particular. He traces the way in which disciplines and scientific institutions are set up and modified. He also worked on the issues of cultural production and environment. Recently published a book “Qu’est-ce qu’un philosophe francais?” 2010.
