Call for abstracts: graduate conference in Linguistics and Philology; 6-7.10.2016

The second annual Norwegian Graduate Student conference in Linguistics and Philology (NoSLiP) will be hosted by NTNU (Trondheim, Norway) on Thursday 6th through Friday 7th October 2016, including a welcoming event on the evening of the 5th.

NoSLiP is a conference for graduate students, organized by graduate students, on behalf of the Norwegian Graduate Researcher School in Linguistics and Philology (LingPhil). In addition to the contributions made by graduate students, there will be plenary talks given by top researchers in the field.

  • Andrea Moro, Institute for Advanced Studies, Pavia
  • Colin Phillips, University of Maryland

Abstract submission deadline: February 28, 2016

The conference is open to graduate students from Norway and abroad. MA-students are also invited to submit abstracts.

LingPhil affiliates can apply for travel grants to cover hotel and travel expenses. For non-affiliated PhD and MA students (also from outside Norway) who would like to participate in the conference, LingPhil will award 7 Conference Scholarships, based on the quality of the submitted abstracts.
