William O. Stephens, a scholar of Stoicism, is Professor of Philosophy and Classical and Near Eastern Studies at Creighton University, Omaha (USA). He has published several books and numerous articles on topics including Stoic ethics, Epicureanism, philosophical vegetarianism, personhood.
